CADD Centre, Srinagar conducted “CAD Awareness Program” in Kashmir Government Polytechnic & SSM College of Engineering in Kashmir. Over 400 students attended this program. The objectives was to make the students understand the importance of Computer Aided Designs in the field of Engineering. And to emphasis that CAD is not only about AutoCAD but various other 3D packages for better productivity and design. create awareness about the high end project management software’s like Primavera.

The chief guest Prof. Nazir Ahmad Shah - Principal SSM College of Engineering, spoke about the current market trends and industry expectations from the engineers. He valued the efforts of CADD Centre for conducting such programs. The guest of honour Er. Syed Shabir Ahmad Rufai (T&P Officer) & Er. Mehmood Ahmad Khan (H.O.D E&C) from Kashmir Government Polytechnic spoke about the importance of CAD in modern competitive world. They emphasised that the students should equip themselves with the latest engineering computer software’s so that they can lead the market after the completion of their Engineering degree. They also appreciated CADD Centre’s initiative to conduct such programs.
